The threads are M14x1.25
You will need a blue sensor with 2 pins and an instrument cluster with a temp gauge. A single pin sensor won't work. Petrol clocks will 100% work if you have a digital dash. Older dash styles may need a little bit of fettling to get working correctly with the tacho etc

Thanks for your reply, i have the digital clock style with no temp gauge. I can fit a petrol saxo instrument cluster and fit a petrol saxo temperature sensor aswell? What about the connector, will it still fit with 2 pins?

Yes petrol saxo cluster will work.
Temp sensors are the sake across all 1.5d models. The plug will fit

So if i buy a petrol model one its the same as tge diesel one as for wiring from behind the instrument cluster, its a straight fit? If i find one i will put my speedo in the other one so that my miles will stay the same. And there are 2 types of sensors? One with 1 pin only and the other one that i need with 2 pins?

Yes there is only 2 plugs on the back of the digital cluster
Don't try to swap the mileage. It's soldered on and very delicate.
You need the blue sensor with 2 pins. Yes.
