For what is that tube? i want to install a new bigger and better pipe and filter. Anyone knows the diameter of the throttle body ?

And what is it for? If i will replace my own intake pipe how do i connect that vacuum pipe to my intake if it doesn't have a hole for it and is it needed? what will happen without that pipe?

An old air filter on mine had the extra fitting but was instead hooked up to the oil breather.

That's not a vacuum pipe, it's simply a fresh air feed for the idle control valve.

Removing that pipe allows unfiltered air into your idle control valve. potentially it could jam in the long term.

Thanks alot, so that pipe goes to the intake so the engine still gets a tiny bit of air while running idle (throttle body closed)?

How can i do this the best if i want to replace the pipe from the throttle body to the intake filter?

Yes that's how it works.

Just make sure you get a pipe from throttle body to filter with an adapter that allows you to connect it.

The pipe is there is you pause and look carefully at about 5-6 seconds in :homme:

it goes onto the bottom of the pipe in his video next to the silicone joiner right after the filter.
