Hi, tried a few things but my rad fan still won't come on. It works when connected directly to the battery. Have fitted new fan switch, new thermostat and checked for air blocks. Fitted a new relay but think it was the wrong one as fan is on all the time when it's connected. mOld relay has cover off and when pushing contacts closed the fan comes on. Only thing left is coolant temperature sensor (which is different to fan switch yes?) and a proper relay.

Any ideas or accurate part number please-

to fit mk1 1999, V191POE, vin:VF7S6NFXF56824279

thanks

you have a 1 plug non ac vts, so it'll be using the thermoswitch in the rad to control the fans.

1264 45

ENGINE FAN TEMPERATURE SWITCH
101/96-97/92DEG

sensors on the engine will be for ecu and gauge only, relay is a pretty standard 25 amp 4 pin thing, there is a resistor inline for the low speed fan which is clipped to the cowling as well.

Hi welshpug, excuse delay in replying! It's actually a 5 pin relay and I'm looking for one if you can help? Cheers
