Can anyone tell me what the main difference and which is better out of a turret style quickshift and a quickshift kit like b & m?
Or is it best to pair the 2? Have never done either before, so any advice welcome - even if its, "don't waste your money" :P

They all change the original gearsticks fulcrum allowing the throw to be shorter, however, you can still have the poor feel due to worn linkages etc, I have changed to the Satchshift system, this is far superior to any other system I have used before and very precise but they are £280, it also depends on what you are using the car for. The other thing to remember is not to try and change gears at lightening speed, due to the fulcrum difference from the original the linkages are already changing gear at a faster pace so just change gears at your normal speed.

I've already picked up some new jam racing linkages, but was considering what to pair them with when fitting...
The b & m looks a more straight forward fit, having never dabbled with gears before.
