I'm hoping to fit multipoint injection of some sort to my spi 106. I initially was going to fit a Weber retroject onto an AX GT manifold and use a speeduino or similar ECU.
It would be much better to go for Multipoint so I will have to change the cylinder head. I'm struggling to find a good used 1.1 being broken up I can rob all of the parts from and wondered if I could use the head off a larger capacity engine.
Does anyone know if the basic design of all TU heads are the same so you could physically bolt any head to any block ?
I'd post some pictures on here of various bits but I don't have any photo hosting since photoshop started charging is there any other way to do it ?

The bore sizes being greater, would leave you with non-matching sizes on the head, compared to the block.
There are always 8v engines doing the rounds, even Furio 1.4 or VTR 1.6 that would be better suited doing a full swap.

I wondered if the chambers round the valves might be the same size but that would be assuming the valves were the same size.
Ideally I want to find something that won't need rebuilding but as everything Saxo and 106 is getting old thought it could be worth getting something from another newer model.
Even fitting a later roller rocker head on an earlier engine might not work.

GMC once made a 1.4 16v if I remember. It was all just a load of faff though. You'd have to question whether it is worth the effort.
If the body is the best bit of the car and it's a keeper, then getting a rotten furio or VTR would be a good shout.

I'll keep looking round. Not found a suitable doner yet but something might turn up.
