boxercise is a brilliant workout, from what i've seen and heard!! alternatively, in the gym, a great piece of equipment to use, is the Rowing machine, in my opinion its the best piece of equipment in any gym, you get a full body work-out, and its not just cardio benefits that you get from it, it also works your major muscles groups, in your arms, legs and back, which is one of the most complete aerobic workout machines available. You can typically adjust tension in some way to make the pull harder to accomplish and thus get a more vigorous workout. I'm in the exact same situation, wanting to improve my stamina for footy, i started rowing 2000m and wasn't really feeling much improvement, so i took a MASSIVE sep up to 5000m, which made feel like i had done something, i started off hitting 24/25mins at a steady pace, now after 2-3 weeks of training 3 times a week im now rowing 5000m in 18/19 mins. try it its definately beneficial!

oli...
agree with you dude. rowing machine is the daddy. Sadly it buggers up my back after 12mins so i keep it to 10mins to be on the safe side.
Along with cycling its one of those activities where you dont look a mong if you're crap.
