Hiya, did a search on manifolds, still quite confused though! I want to get a manifold on a 2001 vtr and have seen the "New GMC 4-1 Stainless Steel Manifold to fit 1.6 8v engines (pics to follow) no oil filter conversion kit, fits all VTR enigines - £230" and i'm wondering what work exactly goes in to getting on? Do i still keep the same cat since its on the downpipe which is a stainless straight through exhaust system? What are the lambda sleeves for? and does it definitely definitely fit? Am curious to know how much faster the car will go with a manifold on.
Any help appreciated!
Cheers, Rich.

thats the manifold you want

as the vtr you have has to lamba sensors the manifold only has room for 1 sensor so you put the other in the sleeve to stop the engine managemnt coming on

the car will improve but it depends on other mods you have
