I have a Saxo Furio 1.4i 2000 75BHP 8v and thinking maybe to increase the engine power using Superchips.
Has understood on their website, they are claiming that the increase on my car model engine should be around 8 BHP which should make it at the end around 83 BHP in total.
How many mph increase will I see?
Engine should go from 5400 RPM to 6000~ RPM...

Anybody here using Superchips ?
Thanks for answering to this post....

Super chips are generallu not thought of as being the best as they are not remappable unless they are taken to super chips HQ and then it costs ££££. They are made to go on standard cars and therefore and mods after which would not really have the same affect as they cannot be programmed into the chip for best performance. A dastek can be remapped when other mods are applied and can be mapped to standard cars as well to optimise performance. Not really worth the cash though unless you plan bigger mods like a cam or some forced induction.

And no point in raising the rev limiter as the engine does not make any more power after about 5500 rpm (guestimate cant remember exact figuresmileys/smiley17.gif) so the enigne would just rev for no reason really
