Right. I'm in Germany on another mission to reclaim the saxo. It's not going well.

The VTS is working with Matt's ECU (sworks16, so very good of him to lend me it!) however the problem of a misfire is still there. The car just has a stutter occasionally, this is most pronounced in the wet when it becomes an absolute nightmare to drive. THe parts changed so far are

The Coilpack
The sparks
The ECU
No imobiliser box etc
Induction kit has been removed to test to see if that was blocked

What else can it be? The diagnostic shows that its cylinder two that was failing to spark. No sensor faults found, other than the second Lambda, which has a frayed wire apparently. Anyone got any ideas as to what could be causing the mis?

have you checked the wiring loom for damaged wires?
is the car over heating at all?

Youve changed the coilpack.. but did you swap for an old one or a new one?? It certainly sounds like a coil pack issue.. especially if its worse in the wet.

As with electronics, it could be any wire in the loom though...

Fingers crossed youve got it sorted. If youve not and you need to borrow some VTS spares, let me now. My car wont be moving for a while!

just tow it back

Chears for that, got a spare tow car? Trailor? No? Ok then.

Simo - It was a brand new pack, did exactly the same thing on the old pack so I can't see it being a problem with two packs, could it??? hmmmmmmmm

Injector is another thing but that wouldn't happen in the rain. Its gay as fuck, I'm just going to jump in it now and hope it makes it to Dover. Wish me luck!!!
