if price doesnt matter, then why not buy a faster car. it will be more reliable too

well to get a awesome relieable one your looking at 5k+ wel i would be to get it runing sweet, your going to need more then a turbo, bigger breaks etc.
personally, to spend that cash i would rather get a CTR or a ITR dc2 or dc5.
if your wanting a nice mod for the saxo.....either throttle bodies or get a cam and remap, i dont realy know that much about engine tbh but i no i wouldnt really pump the money into a turbo or SC if i had to pay labour,.
what model of sax isit you drive?

If you want more power, 16v it.. Then work from there.. Although the possibility for an 8v turbo is there, and it would be a great little engine if set up right.. It would be very unreliable, and alot of the power you might find is unuseable.
The power distribution with a turbo is not steady, all the power kicks in after the turbo is spooling, then it just goes nuts and munches driveshafts and gearboxes! You are looking at alot of engine re-builds, mapping problems and many £'s spent.
Thats why so many people go for 16v with some decent fast road cams, breathing mods, and either a respectable remap, or standalone management. 160 BHP on tap with great driveability and much more reliable.. This is a great foundation and can easily be improved on if you need to.

i have a supercharger kit for a vtr :)
it has a massive intercooler along with the mf2, afr meter, extra injectors, AP twin plate clutch. i also have a set of turbos off a skyline, these are ideal for turboing your saxo :), they would just need a manifold making up to house one of them, they are T25 design. you can make up a manifold using the standard vtr top manifold section then having it welded but its hard to weld cast material.
PM me if your interested ;)
