What have people seen a vtr push out at the Fly and wheel... Im really interested to know as im thinking of either a VTs conversion or sticking a Piper 285 cam + re-map onto my already modded Vtr atm.... So what have you guys seen a Vtr push and with what mods... Thanks alot

For the cost of the cams and a remap you can have a vts engine fitted.

That would be my preferred route because it means then you have something to improve on. The only viable option if you kept the vtr engine would be a turbo/supercharger conversion

i would only go as far as breathing mods with a vtr id never cam it id rather get a vts conversion

Pound 4 Pound the VTS conversion is a better option as like already stated by saxo180 you will have a 30bhp extra on tape straight away plus with a good induction kit, manifold de-cat and exhaust you could see about 140bhp ish depending on your choice of parts.

But if you decide to go Turbo/Supercharged route then your almost guaranted to have problems almost on a daliy basis and if it is still going to be a daily drive then whats the point.

But as I always say "But thats IMO" :-)

Supercharged / Turbo is too much money, i think VTS conversion is the best option.

yea the hassle of finding and buying a written off VTS and getting it swapped over.. Is the insurance worse on a vts conversion than just insuring on a vts, i think i read on here tht it was...
