Hey

I was wondering if anyone knew what bhp a saxo forte 1.1i gave out at the fkywheel? I know its 60 at the wheels.

Also I was looking into a new airfilter, I dont want to spend much at all so I thought I would give this bad boy a try lol: http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/7401066.htm

I know its super cheap and not to expect anything from it, if anyone knows how good it is, please let me know.

Cheers!

Danny.

Sorry but I'm usually last with the sarcastic remarks so wanted to be first this time before all the back seats down and fog light suggestions appear.

no problem and just try a panel filter in your stanard box until you can afford a enclosed induction kit

I think I'm right is saying there's around 20% difference and manufacturer bhp figures are usually from the fly not the wheels.

Also the filter wouldnt add much if anything if it was an open filter.

Barry123

roughy ~20-25% less than the fly wheel hp

wow. I thought it was 120bhp at wheels til last night.
Hmmm!
Clio 182 are really 157 or something at the fly. Means Saxo VTS are like 60bhp at the wheels less than those clio's, yet there doesnt seem like LOADS in it?

Clios are very much variable in power. A 182 should be 178bhp at the fly, a saxo VTS makes 120bhp, usually a little more. The difference is usually taken care of as most VTSs are modified and weigh in at about 200kgs less

CampDavid
