I'm thinking the OMP exhausts are a good buy but I'm yet to meet anyone who has one but when the cash comes rolling in thats what I'm going to.

Consult demon tweeks or ebay there all about performance though no flashy tailpipes.

300 will get you a top quality exhaust something like scorpion (ive got one very quiet but nice tone when you ut your foot down) or magnex, depends what your after, if you want a noisy one with no performance go get a powerflow one

magnex for performance, around 280 new, is quiet to others though.

BTB, but bank on big cash for one

It all depends on how far you want to go really and how much you want to spent.

1st you need to deside 1) Are you going to change just the back box or go full system?

2) If your changing the whole system are you going to twin box (Centre Silencer) or Striaght through (No in-system Silencer just back box)

3) Are you going to keep the standard Cat, fit a sports Cat (better gas flow but still MoT friendly) or DeCat (No Cat, MoT Failure)

4) Are you going to change the cast iron Exhaust manifold for a Mild or Stainless Steel race inspired 4-2-1 or 4-1 (This means there are 4pipes that go into 2pipes then into 1pipe which bolts to the exhaust) these will greatly improve gas flow into a performance exhaust there improving overall performance of the engine.

Once you have decided these 4things it is clearer on what options are are open to you then its more to do with the bit you can see the tailpipe which most people go on.

I was going to go for a OMP but wanted to keep my cat (or change it for a sports cat) so I couldnt justify the price of the OMP then have it cut to fit a cat'd car

Also I think these days people are moving away from the leading brands that done so well ten or so years ago. I mean how many people have a K&N 57i these days? Alot of people are moving away from Magnex as well these days.

I agree with ets2k9 take alook on ebay, have a word with demon-tweeks and take it from there really

Yep, won't dissagree with that but it don't cost anything to phone em up and pick there brains :-) Plus its always worth getting hold of their catalouge cos they hold a massive stock and its always handy to have astarting point when you start looking for stuff they maynot always be the cheapest but sometime they are the only place to find the bit you want. (Sometimes)
