Tonight on Friday the 13th typical, Got on the Junction on the Motorway in Birmingham dropped down to 4th gear and then the car just went in high revs and cut out completly. Got stuck on the motorway at 10:30pm, Looks like the cam belt has gone and all the valves are bent to buggerey:ouch:

yea m8 sad to hear bout your car but could of been worse... you could of caused a pile up or summin lol, thankfully not.... you know roughly how much its gunna burn a hole in your pocket?

approx 500 but going to look at priceys vtr he has for sale in the morning. Fingers crossed

1.1 engines are cheap. shouldnt cost more then £300 fitted.

sorry to hear bout your misfortune, shit like that always happens to me, get a vtr engine in man, should be cheaper than £500 and your insurance wont go up!

just heard mats engine blew 4 valves and hes had the head gasket sent off

Yep 4 valves have shattered, And i have had the head gasket sent off to be checked over.
Anyone know roughly how much we are looking at also including the labour charge at the garage :-(

can get 1.1 engines with a 12k guarantee for £140 delivered mate
lowish miles aswell
