any one know if i'll encounter problems when i put my gti engine in?

as the mileage is on the ecu, and i got digi vts clocks... but i'm thinking as a vts mk1 loom the clocks are dials will i need to rewire to digitail?

the millage is stored in the clocks, not on the ECU

As far as I know you can't. I'm sure there is a way but it'll be kept off the public domain as it'd be the same way you wind the millage back

ah bollocks... so how people get the milage on their engine to come up? rather than their old engine?

they don't thats why you always see it advertised as.... e.g. my VTR has done 80,000 miles but now has a VTS engine transplant in it which has done 30,000 miles!

you can do it. you just have to get the mk2 digi clock loom. i had one not so long back and sold it for £20. to someone on here. so it can be done!
