what is the difference between the 90bhp and the 98bhp vtr engines. is the bhp difference noticacle on the road.8bhp isnt much reli though is it?

From what ive read on the site its not that much of a difference. Two side by side wouldnt see much in it.

I have a 98bhp VTR but never driven a 90bhp one, but I reckon you could probably see a difference. Some people say you can't though...!

difference is negligable, the extra 8bhp was to get back the performance which was lost when the new emissions regs came in.

i didnt think there was any diffrence when as iv drove both
as sean said the extra 8bhp was because of emissions

you wouldnt notice owt.
the mk2 is slightly heavier than the mk1 so the power gain is offset.

So what your trying to say Ads is.... that a MK1 with a MK2 engine in would be quicker than a standard Mk1 :wacko: :wacko:
