Hi.

I am just about ready for a turbo convo, but i have a slight problem.

Where do i put the intercooler??!

It can be front mounted, but do you put it in front of the rad?

Does it make the rad too hot or anything?

And how far away from the rad does it need to be?

I wana get it right at the front really, to get that cold air to it.

Opinions please...?

Front mount is best, put it anywhere in front of the rad it wont heat the rad to much to be a problem. Few cms in front of rad should be enough

yeah font mount it mate thats what i did on my turbo, the coolant temps did go up slighty but not much to be honest and then again the intercooler i was using covered most the rad so it was restricting alot of the previous air that was gettig to it. mount it just in front of the rad 1-2cms away

use a sapphire cossie 4x4 one or there's one from a bmw t/diesel, both of which fit in the mouth of the bumper:
