I used to have the same Green Ram Air (filter in a scoop) but didnt feel enough cold air was gettin into the scoop due to the fact the air was only being feed through two small holes in the slam-panel, plus I found under hard accelration from a standing start the car sometimes held back. I was also unimpressed with the fact my kit never came with a new 90o hose and overall quality of the kit (for the price).

I went back to an open induction kit to gain abit more noise as Im not really looking to squeeze every pony outa my VTS. Although not much performance has been lost IMO, I have noticed that the pick up from 70+ has been reduced due to not enough cold air being supplied to my new cone but I only noticed the other day my cold air feed had come loose and was nowhere near the cone :P bummer

If I refit the Scoop I will add a cold air feed to the bottom of the scoop and get a polished tube from the scoop to the hose.

Overall IMO if you can pick up a scoop off eBay which are ALOT cheaper than the green I would say they are a good option but not worth £200.

Why do you want a remap?!

What else have you done?

Greens rock imo :)

I ref to the above thread:

Here is a Raceland Scoop (Ram Air filter) which is far greater quility than the green item at half the price!

I have listed the 106 item as the scoop looks bigger on the 106 item compaired to the saxo item. Take alook and see what you think

Lol then no need for a remap.

You would if you fitted a cam.

I happen to be selling one lol.
