Are the any problems to be faced with fitting pug exhausts to Saxo’s?

7bhp easy considering it decats aswell. Very good exhaust but will not sit in cut out on bumper so will look silly. If you like the style get the omp version.

What mods would I have to do in order to get it looking right?

im not sure if it hangs to slow or little to left aswell
so will just be a case of playing with hangers

its tricky to make it look right, it sites bellow the bumper to the right of the cut out. I'm sure it could be rebent somehow

btw, it sounds the absolute bollocks if you like a raspy note

I was told you cant make it fit in the cut out. Something about the box would be in the wheel arch?

It looks like a good exhaust anyone know anybody with one? I'll mail the seller to see what he says about Saxo fitment.
If its just the hangers that need adapting I can get that sorted but If its going to be a major hassle with wheel arches etc I'll nock it on the head.

knock it on the head and get the omp version. Its only 40quid extra iirc

the 106's arches are the same as the saxos so if its only hangers then it shouldnt be a problem, any decent custom exhaust shop should be able to put a few tweeks into the pipework and tack some new hangers on.
Its worth phoning around and see what people say as the OMP is not S/S and it is a nice looking bit of kit plus its all about having somethin no one else has got :-) even if it does cost abit

I've mailed the bloke to see what he says about Saxo fitments and I dont mind tweeking it I just dont want to butcher it.
The OMP offer a S/S for £299 but I'm spending money like its going out of fashion so if I can save myself £50 -/+ It all helps.

pug sports sound mental bud theres just getting used to popping and banging that'll probally be the downside
i'd say it'll probally fit if you play about with the hangers abit i think a 106 exhaust sits near enough in the same place as a saxo but hangs just a little lower

get on the rallye register,
this is a rallye register approved exhaust, and i would guess at 80%+ of the rallye guys have this exhaust on their cars.
there are sound clips and vids too.

Ever since I saw a Civic Type-R with a Spoon Sports exhaust, I said to myself I want a High performance exhaust with a small tailpipe.
At first I was going to get a Spoon Exhaust and have it cut to fit my VTS but at £300 just for the back box, thats an expensive exhaust! I had already look at the OMP Group N system when I was look to change my exhaust but didnt want to lose my cat.
Then I found the Peugoet sports system mention above on eBay and looked at the companies website www.106parts.com
If anyone is interested in fittin the Group N system, then they sell the Back Box on its own so you could have it joined to your OE system or own aftermarket system.
My MoT showed that my Janspeed system is in a poor state so I might go for the Group N system :-) I think the centre section should fit ok its just the back box that mite need bita new pipe work and new hangers

Will it fit though?

Even if you modify the hangers so the tail pipe sits correctly the problem is the actual size of the rear box, it would be sitting somewhere amoungst your rear arm and wheel. Possible easier option is to haev the standard bumper recess smoothed out?

Like others have said it will fit with some work or should be able to fit.
Edit - Or maybe not to easily lol

Cant really comment on the fitting or gains.
Stange thing though is im getting rid of my Magnex backbox for the 3" inward rolled backbox. Just got to check it will fit the Magnex downpipe!

I think I'll try other avenues as this could be the best or worst thing I've ever fitted (or tried to fit ;))
