best cams for gti, i want top end power but retain drivability,any 1 got cams that fit this description.how much.how much power do u run with wot mods etc etc?:fcuk: :P

I've gone for Catcams 708's £340 brand new or you can try to pick some up on the 2nd hand market theres some on Ebay at the moment.

You need to sort out a decent exhaust,airfilter,manifold and headwork is optional then get the engine management sorted either my mapping the stand ECU (£400) or Standalone ECU which is alot more complex/ expensive but gives scope for bigger and better things.

That little lot should see you around 160bhp mark.

Another alternative is Kent cam pt51's there slighlty more expensive though.

Others have more knowledge on this than me but thats a rough idea to get you started.
