Mine was up for £3200 VTS 1999(V) Phase2 with 74.000 on the clock but I part ex'd my 1999(T) 2.0ltr 16v Cougar and it was pretty much a straight swap apart from had to pay £100 just cause it was on a forecourt.

Couple little scatchs here and there, but overall not bad condition, untill the clutch went :-) but thats another story altogther

I found mine ok on petrol but then again my last few cars had been 2.0ltr Cougar Big car, big engine pretty thristy, before that a tuned XR2i, pretty thristy and a BMW 525i PRETTY thristy, but I can squeeze about 280 pushin 300miles on full tank and always fill up before fuel light comes on.

Well it all depends on what you want.

What I mean is Peformance parts are expensive as any other performance part and also depends on the brands you buy. Main dealer prices are quite good on somethings overpriced on other things, as it will be on a lower engined/speced saxo.

ie, theromstat was under a tenner I think, some driveshaft seals I replaced we'r pretty cheap, but when I had a question about my brakes main dealer try'd to sell me Citroen Brake pads £40+ front £40+ back -vat.

My advise is take alook on eBay and look at induction kits, exhausts and anyother bits you can forsee changin look at whats avaiable and the prices, check some insurance quotes then if you got the cash go for it.
