gearbox query

Hi peeps just wanted to know if by fitting a saxo 1.5 disel gearbox on my mk1 vtr would it make it faster through the gears i have been told that they are a stronger and more torque box but are they lower ratios than the vtr making it pick up faster but losing a little of the top end thanks in advance

all boxs are same strength

diseal box is longer or same i think

vts ot 1.1 box is what you need but will lose top end

i have heard about the 1.1 box on the vts but I only have a vtr is there any what I could fit on that p.s I have heard that the 1.1 boxes on the vts dont tend to last that long

yes they all fit the saxo range

If they dont last long its because theyre being/have been ragged mate, all the boxes are the same strength
