hey,

Just wondered if anyone knew what the limiter was on the Saxo 1.1i Forte. Ive taken it upto the red line of 6200ish but was wondering how much more will it do? And also does anyone know what the top speed the 1.1i is in 2nd gear aswel? I can get 50mph in my speedo at 6000rpm, so i would think at 6200 (say 51-52mph) this would be 50mph as max speed in 2nd? True or False?

Cheers.

optimum power is a 5200 rpm on the 1.1, I never change over 5300.

Probably right on 2nd gear top speed.

take it up past 6200rpm if you want to know where the limiter is, you will know when you hit it. although its not good for the car i might add!

peak power output is at 6000rpm on a 1.1 forte...

i wouldnt bother changing at such high revs, head is sensitive...

ive had a 1.1 and now got a 1.4..... the ratios on a 1.1 are much shorter....

i get around 50 in 2nd gear i think, depends how im feelin....never redlined it though sounds like the engine is gonna fall out:fcuk:
