2 airfilters?

just come across these an was wondering would this make any difference? i know there not enclosed but is this just for show or some kind of performance mod?

just for show, engine sucks all its needs from 1 filter, no need for the second on a saxo

bargain ill get one of them and stick two of those turbine air filters on it then my car will be uber fast and probably come close to evos and skylines etc.
