Cylinder head gasket

Does anyone know if it is really difficult to change a cylinder head gasket on a 1.1?I am a fairly handy mechanic,i changede 1 on a mini before but i am not quite sure about the saxo!Anyone?

easy but you need to make/buy/rent a tension bar for the cam pully/timing belt

if you have the right tools and feel confident anythings easy

id say worst bit it the timing

their easy enough.just make sure you set the timing correctly

as you'll prob know crank it over by hand before starting to make sure you arent going to bend any valves. and also use the correct torque settings for head bolts.

easier than a mini ==no nasty ex flange clamps to do.,dead simple
