i've recently had a raceland manifold and full magnex system fitted with a decat, the system had been fine for about a week but the other day the engine management light has come on. as far as i can see the sensors are fitted fine to the manifold and decat and the garage that fitted the system said it should have been fine. i do have a gmc sleeve, would getting this fitted somewhere solve the problem and if so where should it go as the garage is thinking i'm gonna need a new sensor fitted which can't be right?

mine does this, its just the sensor that detects wether the cat is workin. GMC sleeve should stop the light from coming on...i have one but couldnt be bothered to fit it so not 100% sure

yea that part i know but i wanted to know where the gmc sleeve is supposed to be fitted, does the sensor for the old cat go into it?

im asuming the vts has 2 sensors like the new vtrs

1 goes into the manifold one goes into the gmc sleeve you can put the sleeve where you want iv just tie raped mine up

yea i have 1 in the manifold so the 1 that goes in the sleeve must be the cat 1, i'll see what happens
