Hi guys,
I would like to ask you something. My car is Saxo Vts 16v. What will be the benefits if put intake manifold, air filter, and fuel pressure regulator? How much bhp i must expect?
Also is it possible to possible to fit camshafts but do not remap and instead of remaping to increase the fuel pressure by regulator? How much i can expect from the modifications. The problem is that the remaping in Bulgaria is very expensive and i am not shure that the guys are good. Thank you.

repalcement intake manifolds are VERY expensive.
you can fit camshaft without remap, but to get the best from it you would also need to alter ignition timing and ,depending on cams, increase rev limit.

Is it possible to use some piggy-back electronics instead of remaping? I am realy scared in remaping here. :panic:

yeah, you can use a dastek but that still cant raise RPM limit. you not thought about standalone ecu?

My rpm limit is ok it's about 7500 i think it will be enough for not very aggressive camshafts. Give some example for standalone ecu witch i can use with my saxo. I know that megasquirt is cheap one but never seen saxo's with this electronics, so it will be hard to set it up.

Tommorow i'am going to fit custum made exhaust system on my saxo. I hope the result will be good. After that i'm going to fit air filter and the fuel pressure regulator.

omex or KMS have both been used on saxo's.

loose the FPR off the parts list. The current injectors and FPR are more than capable of coping with your current spec.

but with a higher pressure fpr you get a better spray pattern.

Do you know what is the price of this standalone ecu's?

Also i am going to do port & polish soon and i wonder how much to rise the compression ratio. The main problem here is that higher compression needs higher octane.

not sure on the price. i would guess aroubd the £600 + mapping and fitting.

Billvts (SSC) is banging the kms out for the £500 region depending on what loom you have (single or 3 plug).
There are also base maps availible for cammed 16v's.
