Is the Omex a piggyback system? I cant remember!!! If it though, you cant run the engine purely on it IIRC.

Easy answer is that it will work. That said, unless you are planning modifications which will need a diversion from the standard map using a standard marelli ECU is the way forward

Cheers guys, i was thinking of a turbo conversion later on when i can afford the insurance. I was planning a vts conversion, and later on a turbo conversion so the standalone ecu would be needed eventullay, Cheers again!

Would the KMS on SSC not be a better option?

omex is good ,but a cheaper solution is the kms with a plug and play loom ,providing the car you have now has a single plug ecu ,other wise its omex ,dta ,etc all of them can do t/bodies ,s/.c turbo what ever . the point is you don,t need to get and engine unit with working ecu ,and so save money in long run
