hey guys need some help again as we all no drum brakes are pants and mine seem to be dead,a friend at a garage welded them about 6months ago to make them a little better but now he says there really fcuked as they have stretched or something common citroen problem apparently, i cant go disc conversion seeing as i dont have the knowledge or money:n:
just wondered if anyone could help out ie website selling parts or some of your ideas on what to do

oh yeah one other thing m.o.t is coming up and the brake pedal is going really low to the floor due to this brake problem im guessing it will fail on this so i really need some help thanks again

For the second part, your brake pedals might be going low because ur brake pads are too low.

You could probably pick up a VTR/S 106gti disk set up fro 100-150 mate, your mate could fit it? Other than that go to a garage get a quote for the parts and fitting etc

i guess a garage would be the obvious solotion but would it be worth picking up second hand drums and parts from a scrappy or would i have to get parts from citroen dealership?

Could use either upto really mate, if you get them from a scrappy then get your mate to fit will cost you shit all. Involve citroen and its going to sting

Just be weary to what you are picking and have a good look, you don't want to buy a drum and find when you put it on something is lose or missing on it but yeah scrappy and someone to fit it should be the cheapest option by far.
