ANYBODY KNOW IF A PEUGEOT 406 2.0L 8 VALVE TURBO ENGINE WOULD FIT INTO A SAXO VTR, N IF SO WOULD IT BE CHEAPER AND GIVE BETTER PERFORMANCE THAN IF I WAS TO TURBO MY VTR? smileys/smiley5.gif

it will fit, but it will need major major work doen to get it there and the weight would destroy handling.

Basically would be very very expensive and you would have a decent quarter mile car and thats about it.

Though this is all specualtion by doing the maths.

chop front end of saxo,fit engine,build a new front end around the engine.
