hey people, next item on my list is an induction kit. want my VTR to sound a bit meatier.
I know that in technical terms induction kits on their own do not increase BHP hardly at all without other tuning devices but was wondering what reccomendations there were?
im looking at the pipercross induction kit from ESP design at £70.15?
ne1 got nefin better for me to look at?

an enclosed kit is what you want.
contact www.slinkdesign.co.uk for the best ones on the market.
you do not want an open filter cos you will lose power

forced induction is when air is "forced" into the engine, with an N/A engine it can only suck air in and can only suck a certain amount in, by adding induction kits whether enclosed the idea is that you are giving the engine more (by way of easier breathing) and colder air.
Forced induction is when air is forced into the engine by means or a super/turbo charger.

yet to see any actual test between the enclosed induction kits like the green or BMC so to say which one is best for sure is not possible.
Everyone who has either say they are both very good.
GMC tend to say green enclosed as it is designed for the car but the BMC is universal.
What needs to be done is back to back rolling road tests to see what actually is better
