Defo get the VTS gearbox. No doubt about it. Its the final drive thats different to all other boxes. Theres a noticable difference in between VTR and VTS boxes.

Rely how are you going to get better acceleration from a vts box when the final drive is longer which makes the rest of the gears longer.
If you one to improve your acceleration opt for the 1.4 box and I would not put the 1.1 box there ratios are to short
you aint got a clue mate.
all 'sport' boxs have same gearset but different final drive, vts is shorter than vtr!!!
all none 'sport' boxs have same gearset but different final drive, only short 1.4 box is on the 106 xsi mk1 and AX GTIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII.
if you want better acceleration on a vtr use either vts, 1.1,mk1 xsi or mk1 rallye.

I had a vtr box on my vts converted vtr, was good for accelerating but top end a vts with vts box pulled away.

vts box would accelerate quicker.

it will be a lot easier and cheaper to use a vts box. otherwise you would need to take all teh internals from the vts box to put into your 1.4 casing, which would be a complete waste of time and money.
