I'm wanting to buy some component speakers and I heard Boston Acoustics are one of the best makes out there.

What do you lot think of these. (http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/boston-acoustics-p-4389.html)

I have heard Bostons are good, but I wanted to know if these particular ones were any good as I know bugger all about ICE.

*awaiting Scotts post*.

They are co-axial speakers, I am after components as they are much better quality.

Thanks anyway.

for the price i cant think of many things that can compete with the bostons.

Dont forget power ratings dont mean all that much. Better to have a true power rating than a make beleive one. Like my R6As are only rated at 120w or something and i bet they go far louder than most due to be able to hear the music rather than loud distortion

Yeah good point Scott, I think the RMS on those speakers are 55w and my Headunit is 4 x 50W so that seems ample to me if I am thinking correctly.

What would happen if I didn't fit the crossovers? Anyone know?

Well I know where I get a cheap amp aswell, so I am tempted.

I wanna fit them myself, so anyone got any tips aswell? Like I said, I'm useless with ICE stuff.

Ads - I know mate, your sound system is AWESOME! Such clear sound and that headunit is MINT ;)
