Are these any good?
I'm wanting to buy some component speakers and I heard Boston Acoustics are one of the best makes out there.
What do you lot think of these.

yes these are good mate, ive herd a few things about them althought the power ratings for them isnt that good.
there probally just clear but not very loud.

I have heard Bostons are good, but I wanted to know if these particular ones were any good as I know bugger all about ICE.

They are co-axial speakers, I am after components as they are much better quality.

ive heard the kappa infinty components are good aswell, dunno if thyre the "reference" ones but the white coned ones

for the price i cant think of many things that can compete with the bostons.
Dont forget power ratings dont mean all that much. Better to have a true power rating than a make beleive one. Like my R6As are only rated at 120w or something and i bet they go far louder than most due to be able to hear the music rather than loud distortion

Yeah good point Scott, I think the RMS on those speakers are 55w and my Headunit is 4 x 50W so that seems ample to me if I am thinking correctly.
What would happen if I didn't fit the crossovers? Anyone know?

Well I know where I get a cheap amp aswell, so I am tempted.
I wanna fit them myself, so anyone got any tips aswell? Like I said, I'm useless with ICE stuff.
