View Full Version : Group buy on Raceland enclosed induction and green filter
KamRacing

Just gauging some interest at the moment.
Due to the massive interest in the Raceland manifold group buy I was looking to give sax-p users a discount on the raceland induction kit and k8.65 green filter when purchased together on my website.
Do you think £90 including delivery would be a good price?
Normal retail price for both would be well over £120 delivered.

would it connect to a magnex system
KamRacing
17th January 2007, 00:29
Yes it will fit. The Magnex full system fits onto the standard mani and the Raceland is a straight replacement

My car is: Saxo VTR '00 X (90bhp for now :p)
Would I get a discount if I had the Raceland manifold also?

Bah, just had a look at your site and I see you do the eibach 30mm springs I'm also after.
Do I dare ask how much all this will be if it was bought together...
Raceland enclosed induction kit + Green cone filter.
Raceland manifold (cat under car)
eibach 30mm lowering springs.
Thx.

I do .. but try telling that to Raceland, Green etc. That is the title they sell these under .. its wrong but what can you do eh
.. changed it anyway so people don't think they can supercharge their saxo for £90

Excellent deal, and will order once I've been assured that it will fit the VTR fine as I've read of people having trouble as it's designed for the VTS?

Could some kind person please find a pic of what it would look like fitted to a mrk.2 VTR, ive had a little look but had no luck. I dont see how the cold air feed fits to the filter then to the air inlet on the engine.
Is it just an open filter with a forced cold air feed or what?
Am interested, but just need a few things cleared up ;)

basically like a green forced induction mate, they actually go to the slam panel but have no mounting points on the funnel

or are the cable ties sufficient??

hey, predator directed me here ive got a furio mk2? im interested if it'll work for me?!
KamRacing
20th January 2007, 06:09
if the TB is in the same position then it should be an easy fit.. worst case you would have to change the chrome pipe and hose to reroute it. Not expensive parts at all.

20th January 2007, 10:43
Cant be too hard to drill a 6mm hole in the panel and filter to mount them really at that price its worth a try

20th January 2007, 18:29
I take it you need to move the power steering bottle???
S34MER
20th January 2007, 20:04
Do these come with the rubber flexi pipe which attaches them to the air intake? also do they have a breaker pipe attached to them as the pic above shows, or will i need to buy an oil breather filter??

Just looked into this some more. The TB is slightly further away from the kit so you have to get a longer one to join them up.. Its only the black rubber hose that needs extending.

yes. You could drill a new hole on the induction kkit to mount it too

the black flexi pipe is supplied with the kit.
They don't come with a breather hose. I think you can just attach up using the o/e one.

Yeah why?? :p
Thought the question marks over the fitting to the slam panel on a VTR & the breather pipe to the inlet on induction kit was putting you off, obviously not :p Looking forward to your input on how it all comes together as your engine bay is laided out very similiar to mine & also whether or not you see an increase in performance.
I was hoping to order mine in conjuction with a Raceland 4-2-1 manifold that Kamracing is running over on fsc, but I shall hang fire till I get your opinion on how this fits your VTR, if its a nightmare I may get the Green enclosed version but I cant bring myself to part with that much cash.
Anyways let us "all" know how you get on with loads of installation pics, I sence your portable drill will make an appearance. :p

not wrong there! firstly, had to re-locate the power steering fluid, then had to remove various brackets from where the standard filter sat, then found that the oil breather wasn't quite long enough! Im waiting till monday to go to a local scrappy and get the VTS flexi pipe and oil breather pipe, then gonna see if it fits then, if it does im laughin!

At least your having ago :clapping: , keep us posted chap and post some pic of the final fit.
I'm hoping a Green Enclosed will land on my lap for £150, they are suppose to be far easier to fit.

knowing what they are bought in at trade I'd be surprised if you can purchase a new Green Enclosed for £150
Is that plus VAT?

I was dreaming actually, my engine is a 90bhp grey top but I need the later Green induction kit which is actually more money
