if your after power then go for an enclosed kit that (viper above) or BMC
If your after noise get a open kit like a piper one or green

Good question im after one aswell. K&N are great but are quite dear. I know a black corsa which has a universal one and it sounds really well. Those are about £20

If ur looking for a lower price, try a green cotton one, but beware with open filters, you get the issue with heat soak!

on a budget I would stick with a good quality replacement panel filter.
You often get what you pay for and a cheap kit may perform worse..
