Hi as most of you know i have just got a mk2 vts and today thought to myself between gear changeing the car seems to shift very quick. Upon inspection of gavs old car i realised that the gear stick was very short and slightly bent towards me like the B&m quickshift gear stick just wondered if there was anyway to define the difference as the mk1 vtr was very long and straight, where as this one it short and thin.

could just ask gav if he fitted 1

or lift the gaiter up and if its all metal under there its some kind of quick shift if its plastic its standard

if it looks like this when you take the centre console off then it should be a B&M TAS Quickshift, i really rate mine

The B&M item is just a stick the one shown look more like a base unit aswell, other compines offer these such as pugperformance.

I highly recommened anykinda of quickshift ot short shifter as it will give a more posative driving experiance and quicker shifting times.

the ammount of people that spend a fortune on tuning items and overlook such a performance adding item (0-60)
