quaife.
remeber the atb is effectively an lsd of sort, just the atb is a gear system instead of the plates.

so doesnt need serviced like an LSD would.

doesnt need to be serviced like the plate diff.
and the ATB comes with a lifetime warranty now from quaife.

the atb diff is becoming a very sort after piece of kit.
they fitted them to the Rs focus as std.

LSD uses clutch plate
ATB uses gears

hey first post here i think,
right, so ive got a saxo vtr 2002, done 55k and i have kinda blown the box on it.
was a sad day but now its all better, just had the box rebuilt and a new clutch put in her. have been thinking about wether to get the gear linkages shortened to take some throw away from the gearstick but dunno about that yet, anyway so they gave me a price and it was fair so i got onto quaiffe and there gonna send me a atb diff for the box. sadly its all been put back togeather so it all gotta come out again
with a little bit of luck it might be running by friday, needs a wheel bearing doing that has to be pressed out, right?
looking foward to seeing the differance from the drive, has any one else fitted one of these or have an p.o.v?

A ATB is a LSD. The ATB is a old style geared torque bias diff. You also get plate diffs for these boxes. I tended to go for the AP torque bias diff over the Quaife one as I feel it works a lot better. If you want a Quaife or AP diff I have them both in full boxes for sale but will split for the right cash.
