magnex exhaust

am i right in thinking that if i buy a cat back exhaust for a 2001- vtr for my vts, it will include the decat pipe for my vts? bit of a random question but works out cheaper buying the vtr system than buying the cat back exhaust for a vts and a decat pipe!

If they make it for 2001 VTR then id ask them, as it still might be from the cat area not manifold back.

no im sure its from the manifold back, as it costs more than the others aswell!

You could just get a magnex backbox and a supersprint straight through, no cat and free flow.

Yes it includes the decat pipe, whether it will fit the vts or not I'm not sure.

Personally Id just get the back box and get straight through section including a decat pipe fabricated by a custom exhaust shop, probally work out just as cheap. That way your get a perfect fit.

Dont forget your need to stick your caty back in for Mr MoT :-)

When i ordered my mrs cat back magnex system for her 1999 mk1 vtr they told me the length is different to the one i have on my 2001 vts! So i dont think it will!?

Just get yourself a magnex backbox and a magnex center section without silencer from abp motorsport, thats what i have plus a magnex decat and damn it sounds niceeeeeeee!

Also In my opiun the magnex rear silencer looks too big and hangs too low, which puts the siliencer on show below the bumper.

If the looks doesnt bother you thats fine but Im very against magnex - sorry

remeber the size of the final box is that for a reason, hence why most small cheap universal boxes dont have a large size rear box, and sound like a constipated tortouise.

ill get some pics of my btb at some point to show where that also has a very low fitting rear silencer.
