Thinkin of doin a few engine mods to my 1400 furio.
Thinkin 4-2-1 manifold, duplex Peco 4" tip exhaust, chip and re-map (so i've been told)
Will this make any diff to my BHP??
Its jus got a Pipercross induction atm

You can drop vtr engine it in for about the same money.
They are 90/98bhp as standard
Furio's are 75bhp.
You won't gain 20bhp with the mods mentioned.
You will gain more bhp per £ by doing a conversion.

agreed with chris. ive got a manifold and a full exhaust, induction kit and it made some differnce to my westcoast. its well cheper to get a vtr engine for it insead or a vts if u can afford the insurance.

Firstly mate, don't get it chipped!!! thats a strong NO, NO!!
secondly there's no need for a re-map unless your upgrading your cam really!
but your looking at about 80-82bhp with those mods imo

what do you mean keep up with a VTR?? 0-60? 0-100? what?
also it depends alot on the driver, and also whether the VTR was standard or not! also whether the VTR was actually a VTR or a Furio badged up, as most are now a days, which is proper :homme: if you ask me!
