Hi there, getting a vts engine fitted into my vtr in a few weeks and had just discoverd vts's have the imobiliser with the keypad thing.
How do i get around this or will it start ok once fitted in the vtr?
i hav a 98 silvertop vtr s reg engine with a 98 s reg vts engine for the car

get the ecu unlocked by bluehawk electronics or the ecu doctor, mine cost £95 inc postage from bluehawk.

my vtr was a kepad immobiliser. you only have a problem if YOUR car is the one with the keypad.
the ecu should be unlocked anyway mate. or should i say you will need it unlocking anyway...
