am gettin one very soon, and not sure whether to leave the cat out of it or not, obviously its illegal, has anyone had trouble with the po po over this? as well as this am worried whether it will jus be ridiculously loud which i dont want.

What you guys think?

They become very loud, but when i had my decat pipe it lost me low down power but gave top end power which is fine on a racing car which is being driven high up in the rev range all day but on a road car i hated it, i had to keep putting my foot down everywhere to go at a respectable pace which made it really loud, almost unbearable tbh and attracted too much attention so i got rid..

it does make the car louder also depends what exhasut you have i have a piper all the way through and its loud

Like mentioned if your looking for low town grunt keep the kitty katty but if your not bother about low down power then lose it just remember like mentioned without it you wont get a ticket. MoT ticket that is :y:

Becarefull, if you get pulled by the fuzz for a seprate reason ie driving badly or too dark tints then they have the right to sent you to the MoT station so your have to switch it over double quick time

i dont think its worth the risk tbh with the decat pipes, too much of a price to pay if you get caught!

what car was ur decat pipe on? n il be able to put it on quickly and i can get certificates without actually havin an mot so if worst comes to worse i cud get one to keep the pigs happy , but i wont be doing that, i want to know my motor is running right!

It was o the 1.4 8v lump. It will lose you low down power on most cars and give you good top end.. I heted every minute of it tbh..
