Ok is there a how to guide in here on painting the rocker cover? Hate to ask a dumb Q but what is under the rocker cover...? When you remove it are the internals of the cam etc exposed?
You should see the cam underneath the rocker mate. Not sure if there's a how to guide though.
Just clean it up, sand it down, prime it, spray it and laquer it.

spot on advice from dan. make sure you use a heat resistant paint above the primer as it will start to bubble like mine did :(

I used a heat resistant paint, but looked a bit dull so went over it in silver hammerite and it looks really good now! :)

Was thinking of Red today? What grade of sandpaper dya need to use and how much rubbing is needed? Juast enough to key the primer?
