Breather pipe?

on my w reg furio there's a pipe from the throttle body then to the cam cover then to the air filter box, via a "t-pipe" is it important that it's connected? as the induction kit I'm fitting doesn't have a connector to fit it to.
Or must I mod up a fitting in the air inlet pipe on the kit?
any help would be welcome

yes mate as if the engine doesnt get any air it will start stinking and also if any stones or water gets in there it might fuck your engine. go to halfords or a1 motorstores and buy a small oil breather filter then fit it the the engine side. they arent very much mate.
