what are the best performance spark plugs to use on a vtr. does it matter? o are cheap ones just as good? thanks

dont really think it matters cause its not gonna improve your performance by much, dont hold me to that but im sure they dont

wont make any diffrence
the cheaper ones wont last as long as the good ones
iridium ones last a bout 30k miles

for all the cars i'v had i'v used ngk's with no problems

Yeah dont waste money buying 'performance' spark plug as they wont be any different to standard ones.

I replaced my single spark ones for bosch 4 sparks and no difference buddy.

way back in the day I tried splitfire plugs on my mk1 xr2 and they were rubish, then put in bosch super 4 plugs and it was noticeably smoother and pulled better, so I've always used them.

atm i have slight engine problem with my saxo its very slow used to be alot quicker.
i was misfiring a month or so ago so i took plugs out reduced the gaps cleaned them up problem went but now my car seems to be getting slow is it about time i just replace them ??

Your problem could be elsewhere, try putting a cleaning fluid in your tank & replacing the plugs
