Will a 2001 1.4i furio exhaust system (e.g. back box and center piper) fit a 2001 VTR?

did the furios def have the cat put in the manifold or was it just the vtrs

Some furio's do.. it just depends on the age...

But i have a 2001 vtr backbox on my 2001 furio, so i would guess the whole exhaust system up the manifold is fully interchangable..

I believe/think mine is infact under the car... the guy that fitted my backbox was rather suprised... as he was thinking about making a custom centre section for me to get rid of the silencer box and possibly cat.. but i thought i would wait and see how loud it was..

I will check later though..

my 2000 Furio has CAT in the manifold so i guess yours will be too Al

Mines a 2000 W, mines in the centre section. BUT, the centre sections off a 1.1 due to the skimpy nature of the previous owner. Im gonna look at the manifold tommorow if ive got two cats im not gonna be a happy boy.

DOnt have one in the manifold thank fook. Just the 1.1 centre section to sort out now

Does it restrict the power as much as it does with the VTRs? As they got 8 extra horses cus of it didnt they. Maybe youve got a 83bhp furio

the closer the cat to the engine the more restrictive it is :S
if mine was in the maifold id of bought a gmc by now for the power increase.
