seems quite cheap - this is not just a backbox right

peco stainless steel square oval system (http://www.motorsportworld.co.uk/framefix.asp?ProductCode=PE-SFS/305-E1&PID=355106)

the square oval choice was just random, could get any tailpipe style but still i reckon it would look fairly neat anyway!

another question:

peco stainless steel quare oval duplex system (http://www.motorsportworld.co.uk/framefix.asp?ProductCode=PE-SFS/305LR-E1&PID=355122)

what is the difference between this and the first one? duplex system? is that dual exit or something?

also if you want to answer more questions what are peco like in terms of performance and sound etc?

oh and what else would i need if i were to decat a mk2 2002 vtr? a manifold ?

just thought that was a pretty good price, cheers fellas

They are both cat back systems, the 2nd being a duplex system which is dual exit. Peco are built more for sound that performance, but I'm sure they still offer performance gains. To decat your vtr yes, you would need a manifold. Hope this helps!

From personal experience the peco exhaust systems are spot on, sound good and quite cheap for what you get. I paid about £250 for the cat back system on my furio and got the de cat pipe in the deal too.

Yeah mk2 the cat is in the manifold. Mk1 de-cat pipes are £50 new.

Not all of em, mines a 2000 W and its got a cat in the centre section, Baz's was made around the same time but his is in the fannymould. All a bit random tbh

but im guessing from that a 2002 mk2 would most probably have the cat in the manifold? do you need anything else for a decat then, just a new manifold and it bolts straight on?

:y: cheers fellas

yeah a 2002 would more than likely be in the manifold
