What is the best setup for power up through the revs, (2000 - 5000)
4-1, Decat - group N with single exit 2.5" pipe.
4-2-1, Decat - group N with single exit 2.5" pipe.
4-1, Decat with Magnex full system with single 3" pipe?
4-2-1, Decat with Magnex full system with single 3" pipe?

I doubt either of those choices will make any difference. However, A 4-2-1 exhaust manifold will TEND to give more power in the mid range, where a 4-1 will tend to produce more power higher up in the range...

There is still no Real answer to this question.
'Which is the best exhaust for a saxo'
Most of any of the leading brands matted with a 4branch manifold and possibly a decat will see a good gain over OE items.
Its more a case of what YOU think looks better and the amount of noise you want.
OMP should slightly out perform a Magnex/Janspeed/Piper or Scorpion but at a extra cost and also the OMP removes the cat which I think somepeople over look this could have alot to do with the improved performance compaired to a cat back system.

I dont really want noise tbh... just power around 2000 - 5000 rpm!

If it were me mate I would go with:
4-2-1, Decat with Magnex full system
Each choice will be a good'en. But that choice will keep it subtle imo.
Plus Magnex look decent enough.
