Ok if anyone can help I'd be really grateful, My mate has just bought the Mrs a Fiat Bravo 1.6 16v, 100SX model, We we're having problems with it from the start, it kept cutting out when dropping the clutch before stopping, it felt as though the tick over wasn't high enough...anyway got it to my mates garage where he ran it through the diagnostic machine, it came back that the "Lambda Sensor" was knackered, so ordered a new one from Bullseye which came last week, Took the old sensor out from the lower pipe leadin from the manifold and put the new one in, remembering to disconnect the battery before i did it...Low and behold its still stalling on the odd occasion, any ideas ?

i rember on my crosser you could adjust the revs, cause if it was too low it would cut out or to high it would rev by itself when you let go of the clutch, but cars have idle control senors or summat so that could be fooked!!

Common problems with saxo's cutting out which may or may not be generic problems are:
ICV (Idle control valve)
Coil pack
Water temp sensor
Problem with all of these is that they don't show on the diagnostic machine, which means you have to rule one out at a time.
Most likely is the Coil pack or spark plugs. Make sure all the connections and plugs are nice and clean and take it from there
