Cam 4-2-1 manifold enclosed enduction kit, throttle boddies or supercharger

Simple breathering mods like Induction kits and performance exhaust can increase performance, Cam would be the next step along with a remap.

after that its really gona get expensive, ported and polished head, throttle bodies, supercharging and turbocharging are the top end tuning items.

Most people stop at cams and remaps due to budget but if you got the cash then sky's the limit really :y:

cams are more money as you will want a remap.

8vs respond quite well to breathing mods.

Green enclosed or BMC!

Any of the leading brands when it comes to enclosed induction kits really.

Personally If you have started with exhaust you might as well finsh it, go for a decent performance exhaust - any of the four leading brands Magnex/Janspeed/Piper/Scropion will perform pretty much the same give or take alittle :y:

Leave the induction kit for later as the somepeople think the standard airbox is pretty good with a panel filter that can be picked up for about £30

I have a Magnex cat-back system, Piperx foam filter and a GMC 4-1 manifold which is coming tommorrow! I am going to change the piperx filter for a green enclosed as the open filters loose performance! Although with these mods I should gain a bit of power, not sure how much though, unless someone could tell me? When I find out, I will let you know the figures mate and that will maybe give you an idea on what to buy for you're VTR! :P

Its a bit pointless going crazy with a vtr, like most people say if you can afford the insurance the best performance increase for the money would be to just buy a vts engine.

Hmmmm I do agree to a point about not going to mad on the 8v but then I personally say the same thing about tuning the 16v.

Unless you plan to keep the car more than a year or two its not worth going to silly
